~ The City of Colorado Springs is on the lookout for the next generation of leaders, and they need your help. The Mayor's Young Leader Awards (MYLA) are now open for nominations, giving residents the opportunity to recognize outstanding young people who are making a positive difference in their community.

These annual awards aim to honor youth who demonstrate exceptional leadership, service, and dedication to improving Colorado Springs. Whether they are volunteering in their neighborhoods, taking charge at school, supporting local organizations, or inspiring others through their actions, these young leaders are shaping the future of their city.

According to City of Colorado Springs Mayor Yemi Mobolade, some of the community's greatest leaders are already among its youth. "If you know a young person who is creating positive change," he says, "I encourage you to help recognize their impact by nominating them for a Mayor's Young Leader Award." By celebrating these young leaders and their contributions, we can inspire others to follow in their footsteps and continue making Colorado Springs thrive.
