~ As the summer months approach, Mountain Metropolitan Transit (MMT) has announced that it will once again be offering free rides to its passengers. This marks the fourth consecutive year that MMT will be participating in the Zero Fare Transit Grant program.
Thanks to Senate Bill 24-032, which was passed in Colorado, transit agencies are now able to receive grants aimed at promoting the use of public transportation during the summer months. This is especially important as ozone levels tend to be at their highest during this time.
