~ As construction on Dublin Boulevard continues, residents and commuters can expect a major road closure to take place starting on Monday, June 16. The closure will span from east of Fieler Drive to Mustang Rim Drive and is expected to last until late September, weather permitting.
Originally announced in May, the full road closure was delayed due to the need for mitigation of an underground spring. However, with the closure now in effect, the overall construction schedule is expected to be shortened.
The intersection of Dublin Boulevard and Peterson Road will also be closed during this time, with access limited to Fire Station 21 for authorized personnel only. Additionally, Mustang Rim Drive will be closed north of Dublin Road to Chickasaw Way, while remaining open south of Dublin Road.

For those needing access to Pioneer Technology and Arts Academy (PTAA), it will only be available from the south via the Peterson Road/Hawk Wind Boulevard intersection. More information regarding school traffic patterns for the upcoming school year will be provided at a later date.
To help alleviate traffic impacts during this time, several detour routes will be signed and alternate routes are advised. The primary detour route will direct drivers from Tutt Boulevard to Stetson Hills Boulevard to Peterson Road and then onto Issaquah Drive south of Dublin Boulevard. A secondary eastbound detour route will guide traffic left on Black Forest Road, left on Wolf Ridge Road, left on Templeton Gap Road, right on Tutt Boulevard, right on Woodmen Road and finally right onto Marksheffel Road.
To stay informed about any travel impacts or changes in traffic patterns related to this project, individuals can text DUBLIN to 866-762-3640 for text alerts or call the project hotline at 719-472-3065. They can also visit ColoradoSprings.gov/Dublin for updates.
