~ Colorado Springs Police Department Notifies Community of Sex Offender's Move
The Colorado Springs Police Department has recently made a community notification in accordance with Colorado law regarding the relocation of Nathan John Zaborski, a registered sex offender. Zaborski, who has been labeled as a "Sexually Violent Predator" (SVP) by the Colorado Courts due to his past behavior, has moved to an address in Colorado Springs.
As part of their legal obligations, the Colorado Springs Police Department has taken several steps to ensure that the community is aware of Zaborski's presence and that he understands his responsibilities as a sex offender. These steps include notifying the Colorado Department of Public Safety's Sex Offender Management Board (SOMB) Notification Team, reviewing and confirming Zaborski's residence and employment status, making notifications to neighbors and businesses in the immediate area, and briefing patrol personnel on Zaborski's status, history, appearance, residence, employment, and vehicles.
