~ Colorado Springs, CO - The initial results of the 2025 General Municipal Election will be released on Tuesday, April 1 at approximately 7:15 p.m. through the city's official website, ColoradoSprings.gov. Regular updates will be provided throughout the evening as the votes are tallied.
Journalists are invited to capture footage of volunteers, known as "ballot box closers," as they bring in the final ballots to the City Administration Building located at 30 S. Nevada Ave between 7-8 p.m. on April 1.
The election includes six district City Council seats, with each voter's ballot containing only the District City Council race for their specific area of town based on current City Council District Boundary lines.
To keep residents informed about voter turnout, the City Clerk updates an interactive online map daily that displays turnout by city council district and individual voting precinct. This map can be accessed at ColoradoSprings.gov/Election.

For the first time, residents have access to a tool that allows them to virtually track their ballot's status. By providing their full name, birthdate, and zip code on ColoradoSprings.gov/VoterInfo, residents can see if their ballot has been mailed or received. It is important for residents to remember to sign their ballot envelopes before turning them in.
Residents can still register and vote up until election day. If they have not received a ballot or have any questions about the election process, they can contact the City Clerk's office at 719-385-5901 or email elections@coloradosprings.gov for assistance.
