Colorado: Lt. Governor Dianne Primavera Joins Bipartisan Panel on Disability Rights Advocacy at Reeve Summit 2025

DENVER ~ Denver, CO - The 4th annual Reeve Summit 2025, hosted by the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation, brought together individuals living with paralysis, caregivers, families, healthcare providers, scientists, and community leaders for a bipartisan panel discussion today. Among the panelists was Lt. Governor Dianne Primavera, who joined other distinguished leaders to discuss innovative solutions for living with spinal cord injuries, paralysis, and other complex disabilities.

The summit's theme of "Where Care, Cure and Community Connect" highlighted the importance of collaboration among advocates, policymakers, and thought leaders in advancing disability rights and inclusion nationwide. As chair of Colorado's Disability Rights Task Force, Lt. She was joined on the panel by Colorado State Representative Rose Pugliese, disability rights advocate Angela Montgomery, former Arizona State Representative Jennifer Longdon (who uses a wheelchair), and former Colorado State Representative David Ortiz (the first individual who uses a wheelchair elected to the Colorado General Assembly) as moderator.
