DENVER ~ Denver - In a show of bipartisan cooperation, Governor Polis signed four bills into law today, marking a significant step forward for the state of Colorado. The bills, which were passed with overwhelming support from both sides of the aisle, aim to address various issues and improve the lives of citizens.
The first bill, SB26-037, was sponsored by Senators Janice Rich and Dylan Roberts, along with Representatives Matt Soper and Cecelia Espenoza. This bill focuses on modifying the bond hearing officer process.
The second bill, HB26-1017, was sponsored by Representatives Cecelia Espenoza and Yara Zokaie, as well as Senator Mike Weissman. This bill prohibits criminal restitution for insurers.

Representatives Lisa Feret and Brandi Bradley, along with Senator Matt Ball, sponsored the third bill - HB26-1042. This bill allows occupational therapists to perform dry needling.
Lastly, HB26-1146 was sponsored by Representatives Eliza Hamrick and Jacque Phillips, along with Senators Chris Kolker and Cathy Kipp. This bill allows approved facility schools to participate in the Public Employees' Retirement Association.
These bills are expected to have a positive impact on the state and its citizens. With Governor Polis' signature, they are now officially law in Colorado.
