DENVER ~ In a recent statement, Governor Polis of Colorado has urged the Sheridan School District, Superintendent, and the Sheridan Educators Association to come to an agreement in order to get students and educators back into the classroom. The Governor has expressed concern over the impact of the ongoing dispute on students and their families.
According to Governor Polis, the interruption in classroom instruction has caused significant harm to students, with weeks of missed learning opportunities. He emphasized that this is a crucial time in the school year and falling behind could have long-term consequences for students' academic success.
