BOULDER ~ Boulder, Colorado - In a ceremony held today, Governor Jared Polis, alongside Boulder Mayor Aaron Brockett and Vinnytsia Mayor Serhii Morhunov, celebrated the signing of a new sister city agreement between Boulder and Vinnytsia. This agreement aims to strengthen the connections between Colorado and Ukraine.
During the ceremony, Governor Polis emphasized the importance of international partnership and collaboration, stating that "Colorado and Ukraine have a partnership built on shared values, economic ties, and cultural respect." He also expressed his belief that this agreement will create new opportunities for both regions.
The sister city agreement between Boulder and Vinnytsia builds upon the existing economic and cultural ties between Colorado and Ukraine. Earlier this year, Governor Polis signed a historic Sister State Agreement with Denys Denyshchenko, Deputy Head of the Volyn Regional State Administration. This agreement aims to facilitate government, education, and business relationships between Colorado and the Volyn Region of Ukraine.
