DENVER ~ Denver, CO - Governor Jared Polis of Colorado released a statement today to commemorate the third anniversary of the Infrastructure Investment and Job Act (IIJA), which was signed into law by President Joe Biden in November of 2021.

In his statement, Governor Polis praised the historic infrastructure investments made by the Biden-Harris administration, stating that they have not only improved roads and bridges but also boosted the economy, revitalized communities, and created thousands of clean jobs in emerging industries. Governor Polis was the first governor in the country to support this bipartisan federal law. This includes implementing a technical assistance program to assist local governments in securing funding from these acts. As a result, tens of millions of dollars have been secured for communities across Colorado.
