With over 73% of the final votes counted, it is evident that opposition candidate Edmundo Gonzalez has won the presidential election by a landslide. Governor Polis congratulated President-elect Gonzalez and his running mate Maria Corina Machado for their victory. He also commended the millions of brave Venezuelans who defied threats to their safety and participated in the democratic process.
