GREELEY - Today, Lt. Governor Primavera is signing legislation into law.
"We are making sure that all Coloradans have access to high-quality, affordable health care, and I was proud to visit Larimer and Weld Counties to sign important legislation to save people money on health care and make sure every Coloradan can thrive," said Lt. Governor Primavera and Director of the Office of Saving People Money on Health Care.
This morning in Denver, Lt. Governor Primavera signed HB23-1215 Limits On Hospital Facility Fees sponsored by Representatives Emily Sirota and Andrew Boesenecker, Senators Kyle Mullica and Lisa Cutter to increase transparency, provide patients with more information, and implement important protections around hospital facility fees. Lieutenant Governor Primavera also signed HB23-1228 Nursing Facility Reimbursement Rate Setting sponsored by Speaker Julie McCluskie and Representative Jenny Willford Senators Rachel Zenzinger and Jim Smallwood.
Lt. Governor Primavera also signed SB23-284 Ensure 12-month Contraception Coverage sponsored by Representatives Iman Jodeh and Ron Weinberg, Senators Jeff Bridges and Jessie Danielson to make sure Coloradans have access to reproductive health care services. Lt. Governor Primavera signed legislation into law to support and improve care for Coloradans who are facing eating disorders, including SB23-176 Protections For People With An Eating Disorder sponsored by Representatives Chris deGruy Kennedy and Brandi Bradley, Senators Dominick Moreno and Lisa Cutter and SB23-014 Disordered Eating Prevention - Representative Mandy Lindsay, Senator Dominick Moreno.
