City Council Leadership announced today that they were able to close the funding gap thanks to the support of key sponsors and community partners.

The parade, a beloved tradition in Colorado Springs, was at risk of being cancelled due to a lack of funds for essential city services such as police presence, parking management, and safety barriers. However, with the help of UCHealth as title sponsor and contributions from AMR (American Medical Response) and Bank of Colorado (Dan Nordberg), the gap has been addressed and the parade will proceed as scheduled.

This news comes as a relief to many families and community members who have long supported this treasured event.
