DENVER - ColoradoDesk -- Colorado Cleantech hosted its 15th Annual Colorado Cleantech Awards Celebration on December 17, 2024 at the Museum of Nature and Science in Denver, Colorado. The event brought together the cleantech community to honor the creativity, innovation and dedication to a cleaner energy future put forth by Colorado's entrepreneurs, educators, innovators, volunteers and policymakers. The nominated companies were recognized for their resilience and dedication to creating a cleaner world.
Executive Director Laura Hickernell opened the program by welcoming guests, nominees and program sponsors including the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL), Colorado - Wyoming Climate Resilience Engine, UPC Capital Ventures, Galway Sustainable Capital, the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade (OEDIT), Cooley LLP, Xcel Energy, Colorado School of Mines, Pivot Energy, Foley Hoag, and EY.

Key themes of the night's program were the collaborative nature of the Colorado Cleantech ecosystem and the role of public policy in supporting clean technologies. Colorado Cleantech also announced the inaugural Colorado Climate Week which will be March 24-26, 2025, in Denver, further highlighting the region's commitment to innovation in clean technologies.
