PH7 Technologies Wins Colorado Cleantech's 9th Annual Mining Cleantech Challenge

DENVER - ColoradoDesk -- Denver, CO – Colorado Cleantech celebrated the culmination of its 9th Annual Mining Cleantech Challenge on October 29 at the historic Governor's Residence in Denver. The event brought together visionary cleantech innovators and industry leaders to spotlight groundbreaking solutions aimed at transforming the mining sector toward sustainability and efficiency.

Eleven standout companies were selected from a global pool of applicants to pitch their technologies to a panel of expert judges, including representatives from leading mining and energy firms. The finalists included: Big Blue Technologies, Correct AI, Rethink Milling, Endolith, Cascadia Scientific, Dundee Sustainable Technologies, Carbonext, Viridian Biometals, 4D Logix, Lab 4 Minerals Refining Corp, and PH7 Technologies.

After compelling presentations and rigorous evaluations, PH 7 Technologies emerged as the first-place winner for its innovative approach to advancing sustainable critical metals extraction. Established by Mohammad Doostmohammadi, the company's mission is to enable the global transition to renewable energy by delivering environmentally responsible metal supply solutions that reduce the impact of mining and recycling.

Second place: ReThink Milling has created and successfully tested a new rock-crushing technology that uses 65% less energy than traditional mining grinders when breaking down ore. This also cuts greenhouse gas emissions significantly.

Third place: Endolith uses specially designed bacteria to help mines extract 70-90% more copper from their existing operations. Their system is easy to add to current mining processes and includes cloud-based monitoring software.
