FORT COLLINS, Colo., Sept. 18, 2025 ~ OtterBox, a leading phone case brand, has recently launched their latest collection, the Sole Series. This new line of phone cases aims to bridge the gap between outdoor adventure and urban style with its durable yet fashion-forward design.
According to John Fitzgerald, Senior Manager of Creative Product Design at OtterBox, the Sole Series was created to reflect the brand's duality. While OtterBox is known for its rugged protection and love for outdoor activities, they also strive to incorporate modern style into their products. For this collection, they drew inspiration from sneaker culture's bold colors and layered construction.
The Sole Series features a multi-layered construction that includes a protective PET backing wrapped in durable performance nylon. The grippy rubber bumper with treaded detailing and speckled stone powder finish mimics the outsole of a classic sneaker. This design not only adds a touch of style but also provides versatility and performance. The cases have been tested to 5X the military drop standard (MIL-STD-810G 516.6) and are MagSafe compatible. Additionally, iPhone 16 and iPhone 17 models come with an integrated Camera Control button for seamless picture taking.

For added convenience and carry options, each case comes with a removable lanyard loop engraved with the coordinates of OtterBox's headquarters in Fort Collins, Colorado – a subtle nod to the brand's outdoor roots.
In line with their commitment to sustainability, OtterBox has made these cases using 85% recycled plastic. This not only delivers rugged protection but also has a sustainable edge. The Sole Series supports various iPhone models and is available in four distinct colorways: Fairplay (olive green), Real Quiet (blue), Midnight Circuit (black), and Xtra Hot (pink).
To complete your setup, OtterBox also offers screen protectors and mobile charging accessories that are built to keep your tech powered and protected wherever life takes you. Whether you're exploring the backcountry or navigating the urban hustle, OtterBox has got you covered.
The Sole Series is a perfect blend of performance, expression, and protection. It caters to those who love outdoor adventures but also want to make a fashion statement in the city. With its durable design and sustainable materials, this collection is a must-have for anyone looking for a phone case that can keep up with their active lifestyle.
