NEW YORK - ColoradoDesk -- Lend a Hand Uganda-USA (LAHU-USA) is excited to announce its 10th Annual Poker Casino Night and Wine Tasting fundraiser on Wednesday, October 30th, from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM in New York City. This year's event will include a thrilling night of poker, blackjack, craps, and wine tasting, all in support of LAHU-USA's Lunch Program for Ugandan children. Guests are invited to 417 5th Avenue (between 37th and 38th Streets), where the doors will open at 6:00 PM, and cards will fly at 6:30 PM. The evening will feature cocktails, wine, and hors d'oeuvres, ensuring an enjoyable and relaxing atmosphere for all attendees.
Proceeds from the event will go directly to LAHU-USA's Lunch Program, which provides nutritious meals to Ugandan children as an incentive for them to attend and stay in school. Without this program, many children would only eat one meal daily. The cost to feed each child is just $20 per month, and contributions made through ticket fees are vital to sustaining this life-changing program.
