~ In a statement released today, Mayor Yemi Mobolade and Colorado Springs City Clerk Sarah Johnson announced the certification of the 2025 General Municipal Election results. The election, which took place on April 1, saw the selection of six district City Council seats. The official results can now be accessed at ColoradoSprings.gov/ElectionResults.
The post-election period lasted until April 9, providing ample time for military and overseas citizens' ballots to arrive by 5 p.m. Additionally, voters who did not sign their ballot or had signature discrepancies were given the opportunity to cure their ballots during this period. On April 10, election workers processed these additional ballots.
