~ Colorado Springs, CO - Garden of the Gods Park will experience limited access on Thursday, April 24 and Friday, April 25 due to the ongoing waterline installation project. The park will remain open to visitors, but certain areas and access points will be affected.
According to park officials, the Juniper Way Loop will be closed all day on both days at Gateway Drive. During this closure, visitors can park in Parking Lot 1 and enter the park via the Gateway and Bretag trails or drive in via Ridge Road. It is important to note that vehicles must exit the park at Gateway Road during this time.
Alternative entrances are available for visitors who wish to see popular attractions such as Balanced Rock, Siamese Twins, and the Garden of the Gods Trading Post. These locations can still be accessed via Beckers Lane and Garden Lane. Additionally, visitors may also enter through Rock Ledge Ranch from Parking Lot 1. The grounds of Rock Ledge Ranch are free and open to the public daily and allow for walk-in access to Garden of the Gods Park from dawn to dusk.

The Garden of the Gods Visitor and Nature Center will remain open during this time, providing educational resources and amenities for guests.
The waterline project in Garden of the Gods is nearing completion with a progress rate of 97%. Final touch-ups are currently underway. In addition, work is also being done on an ADA trail that will connect Parking Lot 4 to Central Garden.
For updates and more information on closures and alternative entrances, an interactive map is available at ColoradoSprings.gov/GOGWaterlineProject. Visitors are encouraged to check for updates before planning their visit to Garden of the Gods Park during these two days.
