~ As part of the ongoing Circle Drive Bridges project, East Las Vegas Street will be closed for three weeks starting on Monday, Jan. 26. The closure will span from Janitell Road south to U.S. Highway 85 and is necessary for crews to demolish the existing eastbound railroad bridge.
According to project officials, the closure dates may include some weekend work in addition to weekday construction. To avoid the affected area, northbound travelers are advised to use Highway 85 North/Venetucci Boulevard and Circle Drive as alternative routes. Southbound traffic can access Janitell Road and find alternative routes via Circle Drive.
