DENVER ~ Gov. Jared Polis visited election workers in Broomfield County and urged Coloradans to vote on the final day of voting, according to a statement from his office. Polling locations close at 7 p.m. Mountain Time.

Polis thanked election workers and volunteers for overseeing the elections and encouraged people who had not voted to find a polling location. He said voting gives people a say in democracy.

The Colorado Secretary of State's Office is working with county clerks to maintain voting access for residents affected by flooding in Southwest Colorado, the statement said.

In Archuleta County, eligible voters affected by flooding who have not voted can cast a ballot at the county courthouse. The downtown ballot drop box in Pagosa Springs has been moved to 10 Solomon Drive.

A joint Archuleta-La Plata County voter center at Pine River Library in Bayfield is available to Archuleta County voters seeking replacement ballots that include local contests. Displaced voters may also request replacement ballots at any voter center statewide, though those voting outside their home county generally receive ballots with statewide races only.

Voters with existing mail ballots can return them to any Colorado drop box or voter center by 7 p.m., according to the statement. Residents are advised to check Go Vote Colorado for updated information before traveling.

Those unable to vote in person or return a mail ballot because of flooding can request an emergency ballot, the statement said.
