DENVER ~ In a recent statement, Colorado Governor Jared Polis expressed his appreciation for President Joe Biden's efforts to provide relief and streamline citizenship processes for DREAMers and other undocumented immigrants. The announcement comes on the 12th anniversary of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program.
Governor Polis commended President Biden for taking action in the face of Congressional Republicans' failure to pass a bipartisan border security, workforce, and asylum reform bill. He specifically thanked the President for expanding pathways to citizenship for Dreamers and individuals who have been living in the United States for over a decade.
