Colorado: Governor Polis Announces Process to Fill Clear Creek County Commissioner for District II Vacancy

DENVER ~ In a press release issued today, Governor Jared Polis announced the launch of a process to select an unaffiliated Clear Creek County Commissioner for District II. This position covers the southeast portion of the county, including the western part of Evergreen and a significant portion of the Floyd Hill community. Interested candidates can find a map of the Clear Creek County Commissioner jurisdictions on the county's website.

The vacancy for this position was created by the passing of Commissioner Sean Wood on May 6, 2024. The selected candidate will serve until January 14, 2025, when the next regularly elected commissioner takes office.
