~ As winter weather conditions continue to worsen, the City of Colorado Springs has announced the closure of all administrative offices on Friday, January 9. This decision was made in the interest of safety for both employees and residents.
In addition to the office closures, Mountain Metro has also delayed bus service and Metro Mobility ADA Paratransit service until 8 a.m. If conditions do not improve, further delays may occur. The Colorado Springs Municipal Court will also be closed for the day. Those with scheduled court appearances or jury duty are advised to reschedule by calling 719-385-5928 or visiting the court once it reopens.

Several City parks, including Garden of the Gods, North Cheyenne Cañon, and Palmer Park, are closed to vehicle traffic due to hazardous conditions. Emergency responders and essential City personnel will continue to work their normal schedules.
The Public Works Operations & Maintenance Division is working diligently to clear primary and secondary routes as snow continues to fall. Drivers are urged to plan extra time for their commute and use caution around snowplows. It is important to maintain a safe distance from these vehicles as they have limited visibility.
