Historic Las Vegas-Based Channel 26.5 Breaks Barriers by Uniting American Entertainment with Global Content
LAS VEGAS - ColoradoDesk -- LAS VEGAS, NV – In a groundbreaking moment for American television diversity, FLM TV Network has launched on Channel 26.5, Las Vegas and FLMTV.com Streaming, becoming the first broadcast network in the United States to unite American blockbuster movies and hit TV shows with Filipino programming, Asian content, and international entertainment. This historic launch addresses a critical gap in media representation while celebrating unity through entertainment.
"I wanted to break barriers and bring the world together as an entertainer through entertainment," says Zaina Juliette, FLM TV creator and award-winning entertainer. "In these times of division, FLM TV proves we can celebrate American entertainment alongside Filipino, Korean, Japanese, Thai, Chinese, Latino, and global content all in one place. That's the power of entertainment—it unites us. We are already in talks for another TV channel."
The FLM TV leadership team embodies the diversity the platform celebrates: Zaina Juliette and her sister, Tina Turner, is Creole-African American, partner Edgar Cook is Filipino-Chinese, and partner Dale Snow is of Irish-British descent. Together, they bring the magic culturally to FLM TV—a truly multicultural team building a multicultural platform.
THE REPRESENTATION GAP
Filipino-Americans represent the third-largest Asian-American group in the United States, with over 4 million people. Despite this significant population, Filipino representation in mainstream American media remains virtually non-existent. Filipino-Americans comprise 18% of Asian-Americans nationwide, yet less than 2% of network television programming features Filipino content. No major broadcast network offers regular Filipino programming. FLM TV Network changes everything.

A PLATFORM FOR EVERYONE
FLM TV Network's mission extends beyond entertainment—it's about cultural validation, community celebration, and unity through diversity.
American blockbuster movies, hit TV shows, classic films, and popular sitcoms share the platform with original Filipino-language programming with English subtitles, Korean dramas, Japanese anime, Chinese cinema, Southeast Asian content, Indian films, Latin American telenovelas, European art films, African cinema, and Middle Eastern cultural programming. The network also features cooking shows, cultural documentaries, music, and community celebrations from diverse communities.
WHY LAS VEGAS
Las Vegas serves as the perfect launch city for this revolutionary network. As one of America's most culturally diverse metropolitan areas with significant Filipino, Asian, and Latino populations, the city is an international tourist destination and growing entertainment production hub. Las Vegas is home to entertainers from around the world with a multilingual, multicultural workforce and progressive population.
SOCIAL IMPACT
"Seeing our stories, our language, our culture on broadcast television sends a powerful message to Filipino-American children: You matter. Your heritage matters. Your stories deserve to be told," say community advocates. In addition to awesome Las Vegas events.
By showcasing American blockbusters alongside Filipino, Asian, and international content, FLM TV Network proves that entertainment can bridge cultural divides and bring communities together. The network creates opportunities for Filipino and Asian-American content creators, builds a pipeline for diverse talent, supports independent filmmakers from underrepresented communities, and establishes market value for diverse cultural programming.
First-generation immigrants can share their culture with American-born children, preserving language and traditions through accessible media while building bridges between heritage culture and American identity.

COMMUNITY RESPONSE
Early response to FLM TV Network has been overwhelmingly positive. "I cried when I saw Filipino programming on an American broadcast channel. After 30 years in this country, finally seeing my culture represented like this... it's emotional," shared a Las Vegas resident.
"My kids can finally see people who look like them and speak our language on regular TV. This is huge for our community," said a Filipino-American parent.
"FLM TV has American movies my family loves AND Filipino shows my parents want to watch. Finally, one network for our whole family," noted a viewer.
TALENT SPOTLIGHT
FLM TV Network actively seeks emerging talent from underrepresented communities. The network accepts submissions for short films, documentaries, original series, musical performances, comedy and dramatic productions, and cultural showcases. The platform provides exposure for performing artists, production resources, distribution to broadcast and streaming audiences, and mentorship opportunities.
EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMMING
Content includes language learning programs in Tagalog, Korean, Mandarin, and Spanish, along with cultural history documentaries, arts and music instruction, cooking and culinary heritage, and immigration stories.
THE BUSINESS CASE
FLM TV Network proves diverse programming is economically viable. Underserved markets represent billions in untapped advertising revenue. Multicultural audiences are younger and digitally engaged. Asian-American consumers have $1.2 trillion buying power. Culturally-targeted advertising increases effectiveness and builds brand loyalty.
LOOKING FORWARD
FLM TV Network represents the first step in a broader vision including additional multicultural broadcast channels, original content production studios, international co-production partnerships, and talent development programs. The network is proving the viability of diverse broadcasting while inspiring other networks to increase representation.
