COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services Department will begin maintenance work on three heavily-trafficked trail segments in Red Rock Canyon Open Space on Monday, Nov. 9. The work, which will repair storm damage and restore trail conditions to a more sustainable and natural state, will cause temporary rolling closures on the Greenlee, Mesa and Sand Canyon trails through Nov. 20. The Sand Canyon Trail will only be impacted from the main parking lot, located near Highway 24, to its intersection with the Contemplative Trail.
