~ Colorado Springs, CO - Due to anticipated weather conditions, all administrative offices of the City of Colorado Springs, including the Municipal Court, will have a delayed opening at 10 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 8. This decision was made in order to ensure the safety of employees and residents.
Mountain Metro has also announced a delay in bus services and Metro Mobility ADA Paratransit services until 10 a.m. If weather conditions continue to worsen, bus services may be canceled for the entire day.
In addition, several City parks have been closed to vehicle traffic as a precautionary measure. These include popular destinations such as Garden of the Gods, North Cheyenne Cañon, and Palmer Park. However, trails within these parks remain open for hikers.

Emergency responders and essential City personnel will continue to work their normal schedules despite the weather conditions.
The Public Works Operations & Maintenance Division is working diligently to clear primary and secondary routes as snow continues to fall. Drivers are advised to plan extra time for their commute and use caution when driving near snowplows. It is important to maintain a safe distance from these vehicles as they may have limited visibility.
