NEW YORK - ColoradoDesk -- Directed by EFDLT Studio, Americart 2019 is an indie film featuring emotional stories of artists, museum curators, makers, and everyday Americans in America's Heartland. They are talking about how Art is important in their lives, from mid-size cities to small and rural communities.

Americart 2019 has been filmed in partnership and on location in ten cities and counties across the country: Montgomery County (Maryland), City of Franklin (Tennessee), City of Wichita (Kansas), City of McPherson (Kansas), City of Pueblo (Colorado), City of Glenwood Springs (Colorado), Elko County (Nevada), Baker County (Oregon), City of Reno (Nevada), and Sonoma County (California).

Americart 2019 opens a unique view into the role of arts & culture in every American community - and their unique reflection of our collective history, heritage, and diversity.

Americart 2019 is Presented by WhistlePig Rye Whiskey and has been produced by Legit Productions in partnership with the U.S. Cultural and Heritage Marketing Council. The original music score has been composed and performed by Bill Maier. The film is distributed by Indie Rights, the Los Angeles-based film distribution company.

Americart 2019 gives a voice to everyone to tell their personal stories and how art and culture are - and has always been - an essential and founding component of America's cultural tapestry, from bustling cities to rural communities.
