• Pet parents are passionate about sustainable products. 84% believe companies should act on climate change, and they are significantly more likely to buy environmentally friendly products.
  
  
• Sustainability drives business value. From operational efficiency, risk mitigation, attracting talent and investor confidence, sustainability is a core driver of performance and compliance.
  
  
• Foundational strategy and data are essential. Only 40% of companies report on Scope 3 emissions, despite the fact that value chain emissions account for over 90% of most companies' environmental footprint.

As the only report of its kind in the pet industry, the 2025 edition translates data into actionable insights such as consumer sentiment, innovation trends, risk reduction strategies, and best practices for embedding sustainability across the value chain.
