Colorado: Governor Polis Signs Bills to Increase Access to Health Care and Emergency Services

DENVER ~ In a move to improve access to emergency healthcare and reduce costs for Coloradans, Governor Jared Polis signed two new laws today. The first, SB25-130 - Providing Emergency Medical Services, was sponsored by Senators Gonzales and Weissman, and Representatives Froelich and Zokaie. The second, SB25-045 - Health-Care Payment System Analysis, was sponsored by Senator Marchman, and Representatives McCormick and Boesenecker. Governor Polis expressed his commitment to affordable healthcare for all Coloradans, stating that it has been a top priority since taking office. These new laws are a step towards achieving this goal and the governor is proud of the progress being made.
