~ Journalist: Horror fans will have a new and exciting opportunity to immerse themselves in their favorite genre this October at the iconic Stanley Hotel in Estes Park, Colorado. In partnership with Blumhouse, Peacock will be hosting the "OVERNIGHTMARE" event at The Lodge from October 18th to 20th.
The Stanley Hotel, known for its eerie history and inspiration for Stephen King's "The Shining," will be transformed into a haven for horror enthusiasts. Guests will be greeted by a conci-scare-ge upon check-in and can expect to encounter various characters and frights throughout the weekend.
One of the main attractions of the event is the Teacup Room, a spooky salon that will transport guests into the world of the new thriller series produced by James Wan's Atomic Monster exclusively on Peacock. The Blumhouse Bar will also be available for guests to enjoy a drink and play the company's upcoming video game, Fear the Spotlight.
But as night falls, things will take a more terrifying turn. Each evening, guests will be pulled from their rooms for one of four personalized and fully immersive experiences inspired by Blumhouse films such as Insidious, The Purge, Happy Death Day, and Freaky. These experiences are designed to cater to different levels of horror tolerance, from mild scares to full-blown nightmares.
